Identification
Elongated body with wing-like pectoral fins and three finger-like spines on the head.
Habitat
Sandy and muddy bottoms during summer.
Behavior
Walks the bottom and produces a grunting sound.
How to Catch
Clams and worms on small hooks; mostly caught as bycatch.
Notes
Unusual-looking; rarely targeted.
