Babcock Pond is a shallow pond of 119 acres with many lily pads adorning the water during the summer months. It is located within the Babcock Pond Wildlife Management Area where rumor has it, Boston Red Sox legend, “The Splendid Splinter”, Ted Williams frequented the area with friends on numerous hunting trips.
