Batterson Park Pond, Farmington/New Britain

Batterson Park Pond (140 acres) is an artificial impoundment constructed in the late 1800’s. The pond is fed by Bass Brook and two other small streams. It drains into Bass Brook to the northeast, which feeds into Piper Brook, a tributary of South Branch Park River.

  • WALLEYE LAKE/CATFISH LAKE/TROPHY CARP WATERS
  • Carp: Daily creel limit-1, 26” maximum length (new regulation for 2018).

  • Use of internal combustion engines prohibited.
  • Watercraft launched and recovered only at the State boat ramp.
  • No docks
  • No toilets
  • 25 parking spaces

  • Paved access road
