Identification
Tuna with a bright yellow side stripe, long yellow second dorsal and anal fins, and yellow finlets.
Habitat
Offshore canyons and warm water south of Block Island in summer and fall.
Behavior
Schools with dolphins and under birds; feeds on squid and small fish.
How to Catch
Trolling, chunking and jigging in the canyons. An HMS permit is required.
