Little Pond Boardwalk

An elevated 1.2-mile wooden boardwalk (black & white blazes) that loops through the wetlands around Little Pond — note it circles Little Pond, not Bantam Lake. It crosses the Bantam River twice and is great for spotting waterfowl, especially during the spring and fall bird migrations and when wildflowers bloom in spring and early summer.

Foot travel only. Stairs and narrow sections make it unsuitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Park on Whites Woods Road, just north of Bissell Road.
