The Nature Museum at the White Memorial Conservation Center shows off the wildlife and habitats of White Memorial’s 4,000-acre sanctuary around Bantam Lake: hand-painted murals and dioramas, live animals, a working honeybee hive, a children’s corner and a fluorescent rock cave.
It’s an easy indoor add-on to a day of fishing Bantam Lake, and several trails start right from the museum parking lot.
